We have experience in designing a range of different projects both large and small in and around Brisbane.

Ken is a pioneer within Designer Planning, and the first designer to walk through our doors in 2012. He holds a Certificate IV in Residential Drafting and covers areas such as Brisbane’s northside, inner suburbs, Moreton Bay Regional Council, and the Sunshine Coast.

Ken has gained a high level of expertise and project experience across a large range of different residential and commercial projects throughout Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Ken’s personal favourite projects to work on are pre-war house raising projects, complex designs and new homes.

Chris is a dedicated designer with a passion for creating innovative and functional building designs. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding results, Chris brings a unique perspective to every project, ensuring creativity and practicality are seamlessly integrated.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys time on the water, whether it’s sailing, boating, or fishing, and values spending quality time with his family. With a balanced approach to both life and work, Chris is committed to designing spaces that enhance both form and function, helping clients bring their visions to life

Alana has worked with the Designer Planning family with over 10 years experience as a qualified building designer. She has worked across Brisbane and Cairns and has designed several award-winning homes. As our Client Services Manager, Alana provides clear, practical advice on the best way to design your home from the outset. Her background spans residential design in a range of climates and planning contexts, giving her a strong grasp of what works in practice and on site.

Alana brings a practical, design-led approach to every project. She understands how good design, planning controls and buildability intersect, and she focuses on clear outcomes for clients. Her experience allows her to anticipate issues early and assist clients with informed guidance that helps shape designs that are functional, compliant and well resolved.

Noelle has a Bachelor of Business, Major in Marketing and Minor in Graphic Design and started working for Designer Planning in 2018.

Noelle has worked in Marketing since 2015, coordinating all marketing elements for small businesses.  Noelle looks after all aspects of the digital space and marketing activities for Designer Planning. Managing the marketing team as well as creating andand editing, creating graphic design, managing social media channels, providing SEO, SEM, Analytics and much more for Designer Planning as well as clients in the building industry.
